Back to school

The kids are back to school. Yeah! We had a really good morning. I'm proud of them for waking up with no problem. Jace requested german pancakes so woke up a little early to make them. I can't believe school has already started. Carter is in first grade.Jace is in 4th grade.Hayley is in 6th grade. She got embarrassed when i took her picture in front of her friends.

This summer flew by. I hope they are having a good day. They were all excited to see their friends. I really need to get my house in order. I hurt my foot two weeks ago today and it is still hurting. I was cleaning my stove top and placed the cast iron burners on the counter. While i grabbed one to put it back the one behind it fail off the counter unto my right foot. It dropped me to the ground and I laid there and cried like a baby. It was one of those moments in life where once you start crying you cry and cry because you have to much stuff built up inside of you. The kids came running in and hayley said i scared her. It took me a little while to stop crying like a baby and tell them what happened. She got ice for me and they helped me get to the couch. What sweeties. Anyways i did fracture my foot. Dr. told me to ice it and to try to stay off of it. It's not much better so i went back four days ago. He told me to use heat on it now and prescribed me some medication for the swelling. Well today i called to make an appt with a foot specialist. I hope it's not screwed up more than the urgent care dr said it was. I need to be able to do some things around here. I miss going to the gym and i feel like mush. I didn't go for five days while moving, then we went out of town for 1 1/2 weeks went back one day thinking yeah i'm back this feels so good to hurting my foot the next day. Blah blah blah. life will go on. just need to get better. Can't wait to hear about the kids first day of school.

I can't believe it's time for kids to go back to school. Loved the picture of Hayley - you can totally tell she didn't want her picture taken. Hope your foot gets on the mend.
